Resolved, the House of Bishops meeting at this 80th General Convention of The Episcopal Church, gathered in Baltimore, Maryland, expresses our deep gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Bruce Mullin, who, over a decade, has served this Church as our Historiographer, and who, in this capacity, was the primary expert witness on church history in our churchwide property litigation; and be it further

Resolved, that the House of Bishops recognizes his work as the Society of Religion and Learning Professor of History and World Mission and Professor of Anglican Studies at the General Theological Seminary and his significant scholarly publications, especially his ground-breaking study of John Henry Hobart.
