II New York

Seeing General Convention in action whetted my appetite for wider church involvement when I was a Young Adult Delegate of Episcopal Peace Fellowship to the 79th General Convention. As we gather for this 80th General Convention, the church will address issues such as racial inequalities and injustice, climate justice and care of creation, and gender justice rights; these are matters I hold dear to my heart. I bring the voice of the next generation of leaders that tends to be lacking in The Episcopal Church. I have served as co-chair of the Diocesan LGBTQI+ Concerns Group. I serve as the Networking Chair of Court Appointed Special Advocates of New York City (CASA-NYC), an organization that seeks to protect children in foster care. As a young lay leader and a professional working in the field of human resources in an extensive public healthcare system, I bring many skills and a caring heart to the work and mission of Executive Council.
