The House of Bishops informs the House of Deputies that on Jul 9, 2022 it considered resolution A225 (Faithful Ministry during the Pandemic). The house acted to:

Resolved, that the House of Bishops, meeting at this 80th General Convention of The Episcopal Church, gathered in Baltimore, Maryland, gives thanks to Almighty God for the commitment, imagination, and devotion to the Gospel manifested by so many of our clergy and lay people during the unprecedented season of the pandemic, endeavoring as they have done and continue to do, to keep alive the flame of faith in our dioceses, congregations, schools, and special ministries; and further recognizes the personal, professional, and spiritual cost to so many during the pandemic in their sharing in the sacrificial ministry of Christ; and further commends to the mercy and love of God those who have died from COVID-19, those who live with long COVID, and those who continue to grieve the death of loved ones; and further assures all members of the Church of the commitment of the bishops to do all in our power to support and uphold our clergy and lay leaders as together we look to and work for God’s future in the building up of the Beloved Community for the sake of the life of the world.
