Resolved, that the House of Bishops, meeting at this 80th General Convention of The Episcopal Church, gathered in Baltimore, Maryland, sends our greetings and the assurance of our prayers to Bishop Vashti Murphy McKenzie, interim President and General Secretary of the National Council of the Churches of Christ, and affirms its ongoing commitment to the covenant community of the National Council of Churches in offering a common witness to Jesus Christ and to the ministry of reconciliation in his Name; and be it further

Resolved, the House of Bishops expresses our gratitude to Mr. Jim Winkler for his faithful service for two terms as President and General Secretary.
