Resolved, that the House of Bishops, meeting at this 80th General Convention of The Episcopal Church, gathered in Baltimore, Maryland, recognizing the important role that the Archives of the Episcopal Church has played, and continues to play, in preserving the historical record of the Church since its formal establishment by action of the 18th General Convention in 1835, and acknowledging the critical research support that the staff of the Archives has given to this Convention, extends to the staff our profound gratitude for their ministry.
