Resolved, That the House of Deputies of the 80th General Convention commends its Secretary, The Reverend Canon Michael Barlowe, for his dependable and attentive skill as Secretary of the House of Deputies, prior to and during our time in Baltimore; and be it further

Resolved, That we marvel at his perseverance and steadfast leadership of the General Convention Office; and be it further

Resolved, That the House appreciates his guidance and patience as he fulfills the many responsibilities to this House and the entire Convention; and be it further

Resolved, That the House of Deputies of the 80th General Convention expresses appreciation to the General Convention Office for administration of the governance of the Church on behalf of the General Convention; and be it further

Resolved, That the House commends the staff and supporting ministries for the General Convention Office for thorough work in planning the details of General Convention; then, under extraordinary circumstances, changing the plans with timely and nimble reorganization of the General Convention weeks before; and be it further

Resolved, That we acknowledge their extraordinary effort to maneuver through a pandemic with no previous experience other than the Grace of God.
