Resolved, that the House of Bishops, meeting at this 80th General Convention of The Episcopal Church, gathered in Baltimore, Maryland, affirms and supports the efforts of so many leaders and citizens of Baltimore across the political and religious spectrum in striving to overcome the unholy trinity of racism, poverty, and violence in the building of a true unity in diversity in the Beloved Community, and expresses our gratitude to the City of Baltimore and to the Honorable Brandon Scott, Mayor, for their gracious hospitality and welcome; and be it further

Resolved, the House of Bishops extends our appreciation to the staff of the local businesses that have provided hospitality to those in attendance at this convention, especially to the many staff members of the Baltimore Convention Center and our hotels who have kept our facilities for meeting, working, and living clean, comfortable, and safe for us.
