Resolved, That the House of Deputies of the 80th General Convention celebrates and honors Sally Johnson of the Diocese of Minnesota for her decades of dedicated and outstanding service as Chancellor to the House of Deputies, as well as during her tenure in that position for her own diocese; and be it further

Resolved, That in her essential role as House of Deputies Chancellor she ably, admirably, and devotedly served two Presidents of the House of Deputies, Bonnie Anderson and The Rev. Gay Jennings, ensuring that the actions of this House have complied with our Constitution and our Canons; and be it further

Resolved, That her expertise in church governance was also exemplified as chair of the Canons Committee, the House of Deputies Rules of Order Committee, and the Standing Commission on Constitution and Canons, and her vast knowledge has been relied upon by task forces and many other committees; and be it further 

Resolved, That we congratulate her on retirement from her position and ministry as Chancellor, and offer her best wishes and prayers as her service to The Episcopal Church continues in other ways.
